Among all coaching tools, my favourite one is definitely the positive stuff. Although it sounds a bit naive, truth is there is nothing more powerful than the optimistic vision of your own future, nurtured by the exploration of your own strengths.
Professional coaches do not work on weaknesses, nor they believe that people are “broken” and need to be fixed to create a better future. They rather want to dig into what makes their clients shine already, and what would make them grow even more. This co-creation of a positive vision is at the heart of every coaching process. And guess what: it works!
Expect the best, plan for the worst and prepare to be surprised!
